International applicants can interview with one of the Participating Work and Travel Programs for full-time work during the 2009 summer season (May through October). Please contact the appropriate Work and Travel Program for more details.

Candidates participating in Work and Travel Programs other than those listed below will not be considered.

CCUSA – (Must interview at Job Fair OR apply through Placement Program)

Camp Counselors USA – Work Experience USA

Independent Program applicants will not be considered.

CIEE - (Must interview with recruiter on Road Show)

Council International Educational Exchanges

Participants in the Independent Program will not be considered.

CANADIAN/BRITISH APPLICANTS

Cedar Point hires a limited number of British students through the work and travel program BUNAC http://www.bunac.com/ and Canadian students through the work and travel program SWAP http://www.swap.ca/.

Travel to Cedar Point

To get to Cedar Point, we recommend flying into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and taking the Greyhound bus to Sandusky, Ohio. Estimated cost and travel time by Greyhound Bus from Cleveland to Sandusky is $14.00 - 1 hr 20 min.

During a significant part of our season, Cedar Point personnel will be at the Greyhound Bus terminal in Sandusky to provide transport to Cedar Point. However, during those times that Cedar Point personnel are not available, employees are responsible for their own transportation to Cedar Point. Taxi service is available from the Sandusky Greyhound Bus terminal. Please visit www.greyhound.com for latest pricing and schedule information.

REMINDER: Please carry sufficient funds to cover meals and expenses for any unforeseen travel delays. Cedar Point is not able to pick up stranded students.

Social Security Number

All international student employees are required by law to apply for a Social Security Number. Cedar Point will assist international employees in obtaining Social Security Numbers upon arrival at Cedar Point.
